Accreditation as a Sports Dietitian
To become a qualified Sports Dietitian and become eligible for full membership of Sports Dietitians Australia, there are a number of different courses and qualifications that can be undertaken. The following courses are all accredited for 2007-2008 university years. Some are units available only as part of a University Degree, while others are available as single units.
Of course, full membership of SDA is only available to dietitians who are eligible for full membership of DAA. To apply for SDA full membership, each applicant must supply evidence of membership of DAA, as well as the university transcript that demonstrates that they have successfully undertaken one of the following accredited units.

SDA is interested to accredit more courses in sports nutrition that can be undertaken by dietetic students or qualified dietitians. Convenors of suitable units or courses are invited to apply for accreditation of such study opportunities.
